RTT embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy that are known to produce a transformative effect on clients: the use of trance, regression and hypnotic conditioning. RTT also uses additional proven techniques unique to this distinctive approach.
RTT is a technique for addressing the memories, experiences or trauma that clients have been holding onto for many years. The client works with me to uncover the meaning and interpretation of events and then changes them. This leads to permanent powerful change.
The therapy session is approximately 90 minutes long. It is comprised of an assessment, hypnosis to uncover the root cause of the issue, appropriate treatment, and the recording of a personalised hypnosis tape. This recording is an essential part of the treatment and must be played for 21 consecutive days.
You will not be asleep during the session. You will be aware and in control. You will feel relaxed but you won’t feel in an altered state.
One of the biggest misconceptions about hypnosis is that it will feel like an altered state. This is not true. You will simply feel relaxed – rather like the way you feel when daydreaming or tuning out.
Yes. Everyone is capable of being hypnotised if they wish to be.
Absolutely. This is vital in order to reprogram the new neural pathway that you have created in the brain.

Hypnosis is not magic. It is a completely scientific method of enabling the patient to enter an enhanced state of awareness and focussed concentration. In this state of consciousness the analytical left side of the brain is turned off, the non analytical right side of the brain is made more alert and the subconscious mind becomes more open to positive suggestions enabling it to be reprogrammed.

No, RTT and hypnotherapy are completely different to the methods and tricks used by entertainment hypnotists. If hypnotists could really make people do whatever they wanted then they would be extremely rich and would have no need to do stage shows! Hypnosis is not a form of mind control. Hypnotists cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do.
